SUCKER FOR THE CAUSE
Sucker for the Cause is a bold celebration of fashion, purpose, and community happening Saturday, July 26th, right in the heart of Mid-City. We’re turning the Greenway into a runway with a high-energy, seersucker-fueled fashion show where every look represents a different local nonprofit - modeled by New Orleans icons, creatives, and changemakers.
From 5:00–7:30 PM, Floor 13 will host food, art + clothing vendors, food vendors, bar, a DJ, and our new Pop 13 - an airstream turned custom seersucker clothing pop up, At 7:30 PM, Roots of Music will lead a second line from Floor 13 to The Greenway (509 N. Carrollton), where the main runway and evening program begins.
At 8:00 PM, the fashion show kicks off with a special musical performance by Girls Play Trumpet, Too. After the show it will be time to enjoy community connections, food, drinks, and nonprofit tables with room to mingle, dance, and discover your cause until 9:30 PM.
General Admission is free!
VIP tickets include:
Complimentary beverages at all bars
Guaranteed front-row seat for the fashion show
Swag bag packed with custom seersucker gifts and goodies from our nonprofit and community partners
We’re proud to partner with IATSE, ricRACK, JAM NOLA and other local businesses to support causes including Friends of Lafitte Greenway, Toup’s Family Meal, and 11 other nonprofits focused on animal rescue, women’s empowerment, LGBTQIA+ equity, and more.*
This isn’t just a show and event - it’s a New Orleans-style love letter to community, culture, and change.
